ELEMENTARY SCHOOL POSTER CONTEST GUIDELINES

AQUA FAIR 2002 – SATURDAY, MAY 11, 2002

Aqua Fair Theme: "Water: What do we know? Where does it come from? Where does it go?"

Posters should reflect some aspect of this year's theme: "Water: What do we know? Where does it come from? Where does it go?". (For example: Where does the water that comes out of your faucet come from? Where does the water go when it goes down the drain? How does  the water get into the streams and lakes of our watershed? Where does it go when it leaves the watershed? What does water mean to you? Why is this important to you?)

Posters should provide a picture with a slogan or message (Grades 1 & 2: picture only) which reflects this year’s Aqua Fair Theme.

AGE: Grades 1 through 4

SIZE: 8½" x 11" up to 17" x 22"

MEDIUM: Any medium

IDENTIFICATION: The back of the poster must include student’s: School, name, grade, teacher, and room number.

Winning Poster, Second Place, Third Place, and Honorable Mention will receive ribbons. All entries will be placed on display at the Aqua Fair.

Submit entries to your school’s main office by April 26, 2002.
